Amy Desjarlais AKA Waabishka Kakaki Zhaawshko Shkeezhgokwe (White Raven Woman with Turquoise eyes) is an Elder within the Toronto Indigenous Community. She is originally from Wasauksing First Nation. She is Ojibway/Bodwewotomi Anishinaabe.

She leads the Rebirthed Teachings Working Group in the Office of Aboriginal Initiatives at Toronto Metropolitan University. Amy also serves as an executive board member at the Centre for World Indigenous Studies and is a general board member with Community Music Schools of Toronto. 

In her spare time, Amy participates as a member of the Spiritwind singers and performs all over Tkaronto as a group and individual hand drummer.
