Thu Truong is Director, Pensions at Sobeys, Canada’s second largest supermarket chain with over 1,500 stores operating under a variety of banners.Thu leads the pension and savings group covering over 40,000+ teammates   

Prior to joining Sobeys, Thu worked with the Executive Compensation and Rewards group at Willis Towers Watson, Pension Policy at OMERS and the Ontario Pension Board as well as the Ontario Public Service.

Thu is also an employer representative on the board of trustees for the UFCW BC Pension Plan and is a member of the Financial Services Authority of Ontario’s Defined Contribution Pension Plan Standing Technical Advisory Committee.

Thu holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
